How do I know if coaching is right for me ?

What is coaching and how can it benefit me ?
o Coaching involves a partnership between a coach and a client with the goal of assisting the client in reaching their objectives, conquering obstacles, and realizing their full potential. This process can be advantageous by oHering tailored support, direction, accountability, and motivation to help you define your goals, create action strategies, and foster positive transformations in your life.
o Coaching is not about telling people what they need to do. It is about partnering them in the thinking process.
How is coaching different from therapy or consulting
o Coaching differs from therapy in that coaching focuses on the present and future, aiming to partner with clients in achieving specific goals and make positive changes in their lives. Therapy, on the other hand, often deals with past traumas, mental health issues, and emotional healing. While coaching focuses on the present and future, therapy focuses on the past.
o Coaching is also different from consulting in that coaches do not provide expert advice or solutions to the client’s problems. Instead, coaches partner the clients in exploring their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas to come up with their own solutions and strategies for success. Consultants, on the other hand, provide expert advice and recommendations based on their knowledge and expertise in a specific area.
